Every Colt Deserves An Instrument

Help us put working, well-maintained instruments in the hands of every Colt band student.

Why Your Help is Desperately Needed

When Bedichek middle school closed over the summer, many of the students were transferred to Covington. This doubled the size of the band program. As a Title 1 school, many families can't afford to buy or rent an instrument for their budding musicians, relying on school owned instruments. However, budgets are tighter than ever and the existing stock of school provided instruments is not enough.

Students are sharing instruments in class and unable to take instruments home to practice. This is leaving these students behind.

We need your help to make sure every Colt has an instrument to play. Your donation of gently used instruments will help us close this gap.

Don't have an instrument to donate? You can still help by donating funds to help us repair and maintain our loaner instruments, or to help cover rental costs for students in need.

Loaner Program

Gently-used donated instruments are cleaned, repaired, and loaned to students for the school year at no cost.

Repairs & Upkeep

Keeping school-owned instruments in proper working condition so every section sounds its best.

Tax Deductible

Your donation, whether it's an instrument or funds, is tax deductible.
