Covington Band Boosters is a 501(c)3 organization composed of parents and/or guardians of Covington Middle School Band students from 6th through 8th grade.
The primary purpose of the Covington Band Boosters organization is to provide parental support for the CMS Band Program. The goal is to provide an enhanced musical experience for band students through parental guidance, fund-raising and financial aid.
Many volunteers support the many activities of our band students by giving their time and helping to raise funds for the program.
Funds raised by the Band Boosters are used to support the band's needs, including:
Helping to reduce the cost of lessons, as well as support specialized section instruction throughout the year.
Keeping steel drums in tune and maintaining band owned instruments to ensure they are always in proper working condition.
Simplifying game day logistics and providing pregame meals for the band.
Band Booster volunteers support the band in numerous ways, including:
Assisting with setup and teardown, distributing materials, and ensuring smooth operations.
Boosters help with tailoring and maintaining band uniforms.
Boosters help chaperone field trips, region band rehearsals and other band-related activities.
